Need Advice
#1
I need help deciding what size quad to buy for my daughters. This will be their first quad. They are 7 and 9 and they are both 4 ft tall and 60 lbs. At first I was going to go with a 50 but after seeing some pictures of these quads with kids on them the kids look like 4 years old. Any advice on size and brand would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

best buy is the mini 90 ,95 or the new 100 from raceway atv, these are made by sunl, they're great for this age because of the automatic trasmission , very relible, parts are easliy atained, i wouldn't waste the time or money on a 50, they'll out grow it in a few months.

I have 7 and 9 year old daughters too. My 9 y.o. is larger than yours. The 7 y.o. is about the same. I bought the 7 y.o. a sunl 70 (xl 70) and the 9 y.o. a kazuma baby falcon 110, both from raceway. Either child can ride the other's atv but the 7 y.o. is currently a better fit on the sunl 70/90/95/100. The baby falcon 110 is a great fit for the 9 y.o. and not really too small for an adult.
The kazuma 50cc machines are significantly smaller than the sunl product. The baby falcon 90 is about the same size as the aforementioned sunl products. The baby falcon 110 is larger.

I just bought from RACEWAYATV.COM, the fully automatic Jetmoto150cc for my ten year old although he's more like the size of an eight year old. http://www.putfile.com/socaltoyman You can find some pictures of three quads side by side for comparison. They are the 90 mini, Jetmoto150, and a Suzuki LTZ400. It's a great quad in my opinion and not having to shift at all makes it even easier for him to keep up on trail rides. Check out there site cause they have Jetmoto's from 125-250cc for sale along with some others.

toysrwill,
I highly recommend the Sunl 100 delux from Raceway. My son is 8yo and he is pretty tall and about 85lbs. He fits great, the power is awsome and he has beat the crap out of it. I have had a few small issues but nothing any other name brand would not have. I think it is the perfect size and power for mid size kids. It really is a nice atv for the price. Check it out.

Thanks for the replies. After reading alot of the forum and the replies I received I'm starting to consider the Kazuma Mini Falcon 90 Atv or the 100 Mini Deluxe Atv (On racewayatv.com it says 100 mini deluxe on the front page but says 110 on the detail page ???) The measurements seem the same, the mini is slightly bigger. If anybody has any opinions on these two quads or some pictures would really be great. Thanks alot for the responses.

putfile.com/socaltoyman I have some photos of the 90 next the Jetmoto150 and Suzuki Z400 but the 90 has wheel spacers from racewayatv.com where I got the mini falcon from, which I think is a must for any quad.

I just got a Falcon Mini 90 for my kids. I think it is a pretty good unit. I chose it because it is an automatic, has front and rear disc brakes that are foot operated, not hand. I also like that it has a little larger tire. The suspension is very stiff, but I think all of them are. I drained the shipping oil and replaced it with a quality oil, swapped out the plug for an NGK C7HSA. I added a fuel filter and a UNI air filter. The chain was way to tight out of the crate. I spent several hours going over the entire bike with blue Loctite. I also rewired nearly the entire bike. I removed a bunch of excess wire and connectors. I removed the bullet connectors and used solder and heat shrink. I ran a new larger chassis ground to the frame and a ground strap to the engine. The original one was not impressive. There was one ground that had several wires tapped into it. The battery sits loose in the frame. I used some dense foam to snug it up and keep it from bouncing around and rubbing a hole in it. I also sealed all plug in connections with RTV Silicone. This stuff is all optional. I treated this little bike with the same care I treat my Harley. Yes, I know I am ****. I think with a little effort into the prep/assy. this little quad will be a good machine.
