I have a 110 falcon that I cannot get in started, bought from a guy said it ran when he parked it. So far I have gas to the carb(cleaned it) spark to the plug. Just turns over but no start. I'm thinking its electrical. any suggestions where to look.

 

when you say cleaned carb you mean you removed pilot and main and cleaned them right - if so I would check valves clearence - I don't think it's electrical if you have spark

 

forgot - I would drain fuel and get new gas. might of been sitting a while

 

yea I've cleaned the carbs the good, took all the jets apart blew everthing out, The gas is good. Now about the valves, how much clearance do I need? I own a couple of banshee's so I'm not used to the valves..but if someone could tell me how the check them. I'll try that this evening. thanks

 

I don't have a 110 but maybe someone here could help with clearance specs. If not try raceway , redcatmotors, ect . tech info is hard to get from dealers .The inspection process is the same for all 4 strokes , do a search on the other forums yamaha honda.you will just have to find inspection plugs on your quad and specific clearences.

 

just need a little run down on how to adjust them, I don't think its the valves but I'd like to get them out of the way while I trouble shoot.
