Falcon 150 battery!
#1
Hello folks, has the battery issue been solved, my 150 has about 30 min of riding on it and now won't start. The battery reads 12.3 volts but will not turn the starter. I pulled the cap off of the battery and low and behold there is not a drop of acid in it. Has anyone bought one from Walmart and what was the part #. Also while checking the wiring I broke the plastic housing for the safety switch activated by the rear brake pedal. If I disconnect or eliminate this part will the bike start.

The easiest thing to do is take your battery to walmart and match it. These Chinese batteries are hit or mis. I have a Yamoto 110 with the origional battery and it is over a year old but I have had new quads where tha battery lasted a few weeks. As for the safety switch if you disconnect it, the quad will not start but you can splice the wires together to bypass the switch. Some are wired to the brake light and it may not work that way because the light will stay on.

Thanks alot, a question about the switch when the brake is applied the contact inside the holder separates allowing the engine to start. Is this only required to start and if so would the wires have to be spliced?

Welcome to the forum guns! On every chinese quad that I have put together, the acid needed to be added to the battery. I guess whoever put yours together forgot to put it in. 2manytoys is right on the money with his advice. Walmart is a great place to find a replacement battery.
