Default question/ suggestions

first, id like to ask mywifesquad if he know anything about the 07 250 jetmoto. is it gonna be any different from the 200 besides the size? i think that for the transmission it should be down to first then up shifting instead of only up shifting like on the 200. the down reverse take awhile to get used to. i think there should be a lever on thew side for reverse like most other quads.i also think it should be made to habdle big jump. the other quads jetmoto put out arent really surposed to be jumped too much. itd be great if the 250 could handle it

He said the '07's are supposedly coming with a normal rear end and a different swing arm. Which will position the shock better. I did see a '07 200 and it is a much nicer quad. 5" longer wheel base and a different swingarm and the rear shock is moved forward about and down 4". The top mount is in front of the battery box. This gives them room for a reinforcement bar above the shock, picture it coming out of the top of the shock and going into a triangulated junction and welded. (not sure if I explained that to well) And the shock itself has almost 4 " of travel. Which should get around 6"-7" at the rear wheel. The ball joints are also going to be changed to a stronger item in '07. SO for 07 they are going to be very different. MWQ will get a proto type and he will try and brake it. Whatever goes wrong or breaks will be changed. This will be put through the paces before it is released. Not sure if it is going to handle 4-5ft jumps but they are getting there.

Thanks for the interest steestar, The '07 Jetmoto 250 will be completely different from anything Jetmoto has ever made. I dont think it will share anything with their current line up but maybe the handle bar controls. I have only seen pictures so far, but its got a completely new frame/swing arm, linkaged rear suspension/shock, different a arms/front shocks, 10" tires and wheels and Im pretty sure they were aluminum rims. And it better be able to handle 5' or larger jumps or Im going to break it in half, or atleast bend something trying.

Like I have said before......As far as Im concerned the current Jetmoto quads are for smaller adults/children and for the beginner to novice rider level too. The Adult sized 250 sport quad is intended to compete with the big 4 and it will be expected to perform like one or I will tell you about it right here. I dont abuse the current Jetmoto quads because Im sure I could break/bend any one of them if I tried.

I would think it would eventually. How much do you weigh atvmike92? And are these smooth landings or jarring landings?

I weigh about 120lbs. And the landings look soft because theres soft dirt and the grounds flat.

I dont know specifics but it is based on a full sized quad not a mid size one like the current models. I would guess its about 25% bigger overall.
