Default Battery in the Jetmoto 250 Sport

I'll look into one of those. Wouldn't any trickle charger work?

The reason it has sat for so long is my 15 year old son is having a problem following the rules. If you know what I mean.;-)

no, trickle charger charge at 2 amps and are not fully automatic, the battery tenders charge at .6 amps and will shut off automaticly when battery is charged and when the battery starts to discharge will autmaticlly start charging again, your atv can sit for months with a tender and your battery will always maintain its charge , these are not deep cycle batteries so every time the battery discharges it shortens the battery life, keeping it fully charge will make the battery last for years, i couldn't tell you how many years but i know it's more than 2 ,
