Swapping out stock filter for a UNI. There are two hoses going into the stock filter. The larger of the two being the carb air intake. What is the smaller diameter hose, which does not lead directly to the carb, and what do I do with it?

I would guess its a breather/vent tube of some sort. Confirm its just a vent hose and if it is, I would put a fuel filter on the end so nothing gets in it.
