Vbike 250 v4s
#221
Hi KCatvRider, welcome to the forum. I just purchased a trailer that has an inside bed dimension of 7ft X 12ft. My Vbike V4s' outer most width is 43" wide. I forget the exact length but I seem to remember 6ft from bumper to bumper. My other 150 utility is the same width. The rear width of both ATVs is about 36"from tire to tire. I loaded my ATVs with one facing forward and one facing backwards. This allowed me to load them side by side. Check out the photo I posted earlier in this same thread. I will do the same for the other two ATVs I will be hauling. Happy trailer shopping.
Consider yourself in the Vbike or any other ATV brother/hood already
Kman I worked hard on that photo in Photo Shop, You can't even tell I'm just posing on the bike in my garage LOL. Just kidding, My brother-inlaw caught that photo of me just right. I made the same jump about three times until he timed the camera just right.

Thank you for the response. So I would be ok with either something 12' long to place them bumper to bumper, or 7-8' wide to place them side by side right? But I guess if I did something like yours then I could fit 4 of them if we expanded. I guess it all will depend on the prices. Thank you for the help. Within the month of May I will have them. I am crazy excited.

Hello KCatvRider,Welcome !Not a better feeling then that new bike syndrom.
What part of the county are you from?
I use a 5'x14' trailer for our two Atv's.It has side rails on it so we have to load them nose to tail.
It seems that in the past four months or so the vbike's have gotten really popular.
That is awsome the more info the better.
By the way baring any cloud bursts or floods, the wife and I are heading to the trails this weekend for our first outing of the year.Yahoo we can't wait.Got the cam ready for some vids. LAKE PERRY HERE WE COME READY OR NOT!!!

Hey kczukiman, I am from Overland Park, KS. And my brother and I will frequent Lake Perry also. 5ft X 14ft sounds ok also. Either way, I just want something to move our 4 atvs for now. If we expand then we can get something bigger later. I guess we have 2 of us from KC now. That is good to see. May have to show us new guys around the KC trailing sometime. Thanks for your response.

Overland park,Neighbor's good deal.Yea we'll have too hook up and ride.
What color's did you order?
I think if you have to hull 4 ATV'S maybe somthing like Colorado hase would do the trick.
I think the best price around here for trailers are at tractor supply. But that was about four years ago.

Well we spoke with Tim and we are driving down there to pick ours up. So we can get a better deal and we know some people that live down there. I am torn between the Black and Blue, and my brother is torn between the Camo and Red. So who knows what we will come back with. Yeah I will see what kind of trailers are out there for the money. We both have Jeeps and somehow neither came with a hitch, so that is another thing we have on our list. We are pretty excited. We went to a dealer here in KC and he invited me to his house to check out the Vbike 250 V4S and the Tao Tao 300cc. I also rode the Tao Tao 250cc at the shop. It was fun checking them all out. Can't wait to get them and be able to get out and ride.

KCatvrider, I had my trailer built by a trailer builder here in Colorado. I found him on Craigslist. I only paid $1125 for it. The retailers wanted around $1500 - $1600 for the same size. This one is built much stronger than what the retailers sell. Anyways a custom trailer builder might be an option for you to check. Craigslist also had alot of used trailers for sale, I just typed in ATV trailer in the search box.
