Dune riding?
There are local trails which are rocky hard pack. I also go sometimes to the Desert which is hard/soft pack. I stay away from soft sand as I know how hard it can be on your ATV's. Plus I don't own any paddle tires.

I live in San Diego, CA.

Yeah, I'm a little bias on the color Orange Plus my Fox Gear is orange so I can blend in with my rides.

Pismo sand is loose.. but 3 psi per tire and you do ok(all my Chinese stuff has been there a few times on stock tires).. the sand down near Mexico(Glamis etc) is not as loose.. almost like dirt... didnt even have to air down my truck tires...only rode dirt bikes there and had paddles for them..

Thats about 450 miles south of me.. bummer.. wouldnt mind being there for the maiden voyage..

I believe they we're around $3K when new. Even with it shiny and new at Pep Boys, there is no way I would spend that kind of money on a Chinese Quad. For me, it was more of a learning and challenge experience to get this one going. Plus, knowledge sharing is what I like to do.

Went to register the Quad today and was surprised it was only $66. I was $5 short but I need to bring the Quad there for inspection anyways. Gonna try and take care of this tomorrow am if my boss lets me.
