Same basic engine as the Polaris 50. Engine parts(cylinders, heads, pistons) can in fact interchange with several different brands. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dinli-50cc-4...FSkYph&vxp=mtr Torque on the Polaris 50 is 14 foot pounds on the head nuts.

Thanks

I looked and looked and couldn't find anything for the model I have. Other models range from 14-21 from what I've seen.

Yep, that's pretty much what what I had found.
What's the difference between the cylinder head nut and cylinder head bolt?

Cylinder head nut
28-30 N.m (20.7-22.1 lb./ft)

Cylinder head bolt
20-30 N.m (14.8-22.1 lb./ft)

Just a guess, but looks like they have the cylinder stud torque along with the head nut torque and they both look like they're reversed. If the head nuts are like the ones Polaris uses which I think they are, I wouldn't go much over the 14 foot pounds.

I kind of figured that....after I hit the post button.
It doesn't make any sense to have the stud torque less that the bolt.

Thanks for the help.

14 ft lb = 168 inch lbs.
I find it scary to go to 120 inch lbs.
It is a 6mm stud, right?

Eton,Aeon(Polaris),Dinli and a couple others shared basically the same engine.Polaris had 6mm studs and had a 14 pound head torque reading for the 50 and 90cc models. Look at chapter 2,page 21 on this manual.2003 Polaris Scrambler 50-90 Sportsman 90 Predator 90 Service Manual[1] - Documents

Well the head gasket came today, so now I have another question. The gasket has a raised impression around it. Does it matter which way it goes?
