Default Need help with Coolster 110cc

I bought my little girl a Coolster 110 this past Christmas. She rode it around the yard for a total of about 4 hours of riding since getting it. All of a sudden a few weeks ago it wouldn’t start. Pulled the spark plug and it was not firing. After tracing wires, checking kill switches and reading online I came to the conclusion the stator must be bad. Ordered a new one off of eBay and just changed it out. After getting the new one in it fired right up. Was about to let my girl ride it around and after driving about a foot it shut off and wouldn’t start back. Pulled the spark plug and again no spark. Checked all my connections etc. can’t find a problem. Acting just like it did before replacing the old stator. Now I’m aggravated and lost. Any help would be appreciated.

Ignition faults can be anywhere in the system. Stators are no more likely to go wrong than CDIs, ignition coils, spark plugs, wiring, or ignition switches. Check all wiring connectors, and fit a new plug. If that doesn't work there are lots of posts on here about checking the wires to CDI for the correct voltages or resistance, in order to identify a faulty component.
