Default TatoTao 125 sluggish

So the quad was running fine. All the sudden, it acts like has no power. I have to turn the idle screw all the way in with the choke on for the bike to start. Once i turn the choke off, it turns off. I can start the quad with no chock but have to give it some throttle and need to keep managing the throttle for the bike to run. If i go full throttle i has limited power and eventually bogs out. I have no idea what happened to this thing,

Clean the carb out properly, and don't mess with the idle mixture screw.

I would recommend that you just go ahead and buy a new carb off of amazon. They are so cheap its really not even worth it to try and mess with the old one.

[/QUOTE] Replacing the carb is fine, but you will eventually run into the same problem. Your primary jet is dirty. Take 15 minutes to clean.Torch tip cleaners work great. Remove float bowl,in the center of carb there's a brass fitting, you can use a screwdriver or wrench, remove it and use the cleaners to clear out the holes. Then spray carb cleaner through it. Careful, carb cleaner always finds it's way to your face. Plug one end of the jet and spray. You should see cleaner come out of the holes evenly.
