Paddle tires rotating on 8" rims
I have seen one or two guys put screws through the bead of the rim and tire. I don't know if this is the answer, it seems like it would slowly leak down, but i have seen it done on one or two drag banshees. Obviously beadlocks would work, but the weight would be the problem.
How much pressure are you running in them now?

Poor Mans Bead Locks... I run 10 - 3/4 inch stainless screws through the rim & into the beads of my ultra low air Super Swampers... they are mounted on 9" Baja series wheels ( which have stiffening rings on the inside & outside ) as long as the screws don't go all the way through the bead, the tires won't leak, I've added slime to the tires, but they were mounted for over a week without leaking...I have a pretty thick bead on my tires, & the Bajas are .019 thick... Hope this helps ... Have A GREAT Day, Go Four Wheel'in !!!!! WAM

Paddle tires rotating on 8" rims
Scooby, I am having the same problem on my LT500. I am running Paddla Brats on 8" wheels and the paddles are turning on the wheels. I have run as much as 6 lbs. (which decreases traction severely) and as little as 3 lbs. (best air psi for maximum traction). I was considering rim screws, but the beads on my paddle tires are really thin. I might have to go with a beadlock. I considered 10" wheels, but then I lose the sidewall flex and wrinkle I have now. Let me know what works for you.

I used to use silicone on my Jeep's Ice Racing Tires... I'll bet contact cement or silicone would work...Might be a b##ch to dismount them later... but theres a trick I saw on another forum that works like a charm on light 2 ply tires, let the air out of the tire, then put the valve stem back in, if the machine still scrubs over the tire, put 1 - 2 #'s of air in the tire...I'm sure, even with contact cement on the beads, you'd be able to dismount the tires useing this meathod... give the bead sealer, silicone, or contact cement time to dry / cure, or it will actually make it easier for the tire to spin on the bead...Have A Good One ...
