I second that. I run Kenda Bearclaws (22x12-9) on the back of my Warrior and they are great for the kind of terrain you mentioned. I wouldn't trade them for anything. They are also a 4-ply tire so are really durable. For the front I would recommend a knobby type tire eg. (Kenda Dominator, ITP Holeshot, GBC Shredder, Maxxis Razr.) I run 22x8-10 Cheng Shin knobbies on the front of my Warrior. They are similar in design to the others I mentioned except they are two-ply. If you have the extra money go with a 4 or 6 ply tire. (The only 6-plys are Holeshot XTCs, GBC Shredder R/As and Maxxis Razrs.) I wouldn't recommend BearClaws on the front though, you want a tire that tracks well.

I use the 22x11x9 Maxxis All Traks and am totally satisfied with them. They do great on mud, snow, sand, gravel, and hard pack. They are good sliders and very controllable. They are a million times better than the stock dunlops on all surfaces. To say they're great would be an understatement. This has been the most worthwhile mod I've done yet. (get a steering stabilizer too!)

I am a big fan of the ITP Blackwaters. I had them on my 87 Warrior. I have a 99 Warrior now but only stock tires for now. I was even considering going with the 25" Blackwaters on 10" wheels, but I am not sure as to what issues may arise by changing. The Balckwaters will push the Warrior thru anything you aim at, hard-pak, snow, mud, sand etc. Real strong sidewalls (4ply) on this tire. I used to run them flat in the snow and never did the tire seem like it was rolling. The tire also slides real nice around the corners so you don't have to worry about catching an edge. I will keep an eye on this string to hear about your results.

BearClaws!!!!.... You'll love the way they perform. Watch out at first though.. they have extremely good side-bite and will trick ya if you're not being careful. The first time I went into a doughnut frenzy with the new 'Claws, I got about 180 degrees and those big side-lugs bit and almost launched the Scrambler straight out from under me. Once you become acustom to them, you'll be about to spin around on your inside front wheel. I run 22x12x10.. If you're thinking of buying new wheels sometime soon, do it now and go up to 10" wheels. That will help keep the sidewalls from flexing so much.
Good Luck!!!....

I had a 99 Warrior and I put 20x11x9 GBC shredders on. I never had a problem and they look way cooler than 22s unless you have to have the ground clearance. Just my opinion. (20's usually measure 21-22 tall by the way)

I think the new 22 XCT holeshot would be a
good all around tire. I have 20 xc's and a
set of mud machines. For the swampy stuff the
mud machines are excellent. They are really
hard to load up with mud, just don't look
sideways when you got the throttle nailed!

I run RaZr's all around on my Warrior and I can get through just about anything within reason. I have 22's out back mainly for extra ground clearance. These tires are great all around performers.
