itp 589 or mudlites for KQ 700?
Out of all of the tires mentioned the Mud Bugs do far better in the mud. I have 26x10/12s 589s on the Rubi and the same sized Bugs on the Rancher. The Bugs do far better. You may even want to look at Vamps. They have a decent trail ride but perform even better than Bugs.

Skidooracer, here's my take on your original post. If you ride in snowy conditions get the 589's on the C-5 rims. The big lugs on the 589's will hold 1" ice screws firmly and the C-5's are coated to protect against road salt corrosion.
If no snow, the C-6 have a real nice polish and there's ton of tires to choose from.
The 26" 589's are a pretty big tire, should be enough for you.

actually i decided on mudlites 26 10 12 and 26 12 12, im just shopping around now. i do mostly trail riding in grass and looser dirt so they seem best for me, i really dont mud unless theres some in the way. but i will mud more if i have decent tires. kinda debating 27's but i dunno...for now its 26's unless i wouldnt notice power loss with the 27's.
one question tho, on the kq the front hubs stick out wider than the rear dont they? the itp rims are the same backspace friont and back so will sidewall of the front tires stick out further than the rears or the same or what? how would that look? also wont it look funny that the front rims sticks out more than the rear? some pics of this setup would be great if anyone has thanks alot!!
