Best Wearing Tires for Ranch Fire Roads
We use three quads on the ranch to move horses from the barn to the arena for team roping all day long 6 days a week. We go through tires like mad! The ranch is in Southern California and we 95% of the time are on hard pack roads with a little pavement and pasture riding making up the other 5%. What are the best wearing tires out there? Each quad sees about 8 to 10,000 miles of use each year and the tires are killing us.

sounds to me like traction is not really an issue for you, so you might want to check out some hard ground tires, like the ITP all trails-dont give good mud traction, but will wear a long time on hardpack, i think the ATRs are also a long wearing tire but not sure

So what tires is it that you have been running, that aren't holding up? The stock ones? Seems like a waste that you have these 4X4 utilities and all they do is run around on hardpacked roads all day! (There are a bunch of simpler, cheaper, lighter machines that would probably have worked better for you.)
It's hard to make a suggestion. If they were 2wd utes or sport bikes, there would be way more options available, but because they are 4wd you have to have a matched set of 4 tires. (Something like a 2wd Recon with street tires might have served you better.) There just aren't any utility tires that have a reputation for being great on hardpack, because that isn't the environment where a 4X4 normally runs.
You might want to consider a Warn 424 for the Rancher. It will make it a selectable 2wd/4wd, and that should help with front tire wear as well as making the machine handle way, way better.

I belive dennis kirk at one time had a set of tires/rims that were basically like street car tires. Basically look for ones with the most rubber on the road and the thickest ply. 6ply tires should wear slower then 2 ply tires...thicker rubber. I dont know specifically what you might want
