1-10 scale

MUD: 8 They are not a mudzilla, but i havnt got stuck to the point of no escape yet. Good self cleaning ability.

SNOW: 9 They are about as good as it gets for a snow tire, but a paddle tire would do better in 24" of snow. As with any non paddle tire, they will dig down in real deep snow until you bottom out.

ROUGH ROCKY TERRAIN: 10 They have a perfect aggressive tread to pull over rocks, logs, and other obstacles. They are VERY durable, and i have yet to get a hole or a leak.

ROADS(tar): 4 Not reccomended for long highway rides. Its by no means a quiet comfy radial on tar roads!

HARDPACK: 9 A very smooth ride on hardpacked trails, with excellent traction, and very minimal wear. Its like night and day when going from a tar road to gravel or a hardpack trail.

Overall, i would highly reccomend these tires for anyone looking for the best All Terrain Tire. I will buy these tires again when i need new ones

I agree. I have a set of 25's and the next set will be 26"s for the extra tread. Awsome tire!

Thanks for posting this update. It really helped me make up my mind. 1,200 miles and they are only showing a little wear? I was turned away from these tires because people say they wear out so fast. I was worried I wouldn't get a year out of them before they were down to 1/2 tread or less. It would take me 2 years to put on 1200 miles as little as I ride. I only ride my own land as well as a friends land since there is no public trails in our area. I have stock tires now and I have more trouble climbing the steep hills and river banks than going through the mud. I also spend more time on the hills than in the mud. From what I have found Swamplites seem to be the most highly reccomended tire for climbing.

I have no doubts anymore, I am getting swamplites. I just have to shop around for the best deal on them now.

How are they in the sand and water?

Get them from www.traxmotorsports.com. Find a few quotes first, then call them and they will beat the lowest quote, and they give you free shipping. I got my set of four, with rims, caps, lug nuts, mounted and delivered to my door for 594 dollars even.

V2Rider, Maybe a dumb question for a relative newby to the ATV world, but what is ENGINE ICE that you post for your upgrade's?

Its a performance Antifreeze that reduces engine temperature for better HP and performance.

ill have to agree with v2. the swamplites are an excellant tire choice for what he mentioned. i just put mine on a few months ago and so far good wear. im running 27's on my 500 arctic cat. i notice a little bit more power loss with these than i did with my 27' 589's. ( which have 3000 miles on them and still have 3 quarters of an inch left on them) hopefully ill get the same with these swamplites. the 589's seemed to dig more which at time would dig a hole and get me stuck more often. the swamplites dont really dig, they get traction and go, they just work a lot better for my type of riding. i have yet to try them in the snow but im looking forward to it!
