Default Tie Rod question....

I have a 2001 Honda Foreman es 4x4 question... I broke a left top tie rod end a week ago and I'm getting mixed suggestions here. I know you have to buy them in a set of two "upper and lower" Should I go ahead and replace the other side while I'm at it? How long should they last? I have almost 3000 miles on the bike and I have mudlite XL tires on the bike, 26-10-12 on the front. I know the old saying " If it ain't broke, Don't fix it but I ride a lot of trails that I travel too. I sure would hate being in the middle of Hatfield McCoy trails and break the other side. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

yup do them both. better safe then sorry.as for how long they last depends on driver. make sure u align it when done.chaulk mark on floor or string around is good,I use eyes to align with quad on lift.

I would either keep it on the bike in case the other breaks, or replace it and keep the old one on the bike in case the new one breaks.
