Default Suggestions for off-road tires for husband's christmas gift

I am thinking about getting my husband tires for christmas and I know the size he wants, but I am not sure of what brand/model I should get. I know he wants something good for mud and I am on a budget, so any suggestions?

EDIT: Does anyone have experience with the Maxxis Mud Bug?
This seems to be a good deal from what I have been pricing, what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...Q5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Mud Lites are hard to beat for both mud and budget. Swamplites are a good tire also

Try Cabelas and might also look on Dennis Kirk's website. You might want to check your local ATV and tire dealerships. There are some in my area that carry ATV tires very reasonably priced. You might be surprised at how many places carry ATV tires now, even some farm and home places do.

My wife and I have a deal. If we are going to spend major cash on a gift for each other, we just go ahead and ask to make sure that we get exactly what the other one wants. Yea, it might spoil the surprise, but at least you'll know for sure that he loves what you gave him. It's only two weeks until Christmas anyway. Last year, she gave me a half-day at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. I knew about it early, but that didn't keep me from peeing my pants (again) on Christmas morning.

I would second Motosport.com as a website to check out. They sometimes have free shipping on orders over $100.

Aslo, just to make your hubby happy, try printing out a picture with the size from the website, and put it in a card and wrap it in a large box. If it is waht he wants, order it ASAP, if not he can make adjustments prior to ordering. Otherwise you may spend $400 on a set of tires he is not really interested in and it can cost you quite a bit of cash to return them as well.

Check with any local tire dealer to see if they have some as well.

I run the mudlite tires and do not see changing any time soon and when I do I will be getting another set of mudlites. So I reccomend them.

dicksatv.com sells tires too. I got a pretty good deal from them on my XTR's. Just have to email or call em.
