Default Front tires

I am putting 4 new tire on my '07 Foreman, and I want to put 25/10/12's on the front to replace the stock 25/8/12's. I know that I need new rims and that a lot of you guys have done this. Does this increase traction? Does this make the bike harder to steer? I don't have power steering.I would appreciate your comments.

What rims are you looking at??? Some new stock ones, or totally different aftermarket??? Aren't the stock ones alloy and fairly light? If aftermarket, why not change out the rear at the same time???

Tires are only 2" wider, so that might not be a serious change. No personal experience with the Foreman, but on the Ranchers if I run rims that have a very big offset (ITP 12X7") and big tires (ITP Holeshot ATR's), I pick up some bump steer and the steering fights me a little when in 4wd (fights me like it has lockers).

Why do you need new rims? Did you wreck the old ones?

No, there is nothing wrong with the rims. I just thought that I needed a wider rim for the wider tires. My front rims look to be narrower than the back
