Which gear oil is good to use?

Default Which gear oil is good to use?

I have a 1998 kawasaki prarie 400 4x2, Is it ok to use regular automotive 80/90 gear oil or should ya only use atv gear oil? Thanks

personally i will chose the latter one

any 80/90 works. it does not have to be atv gear oil. engine oils,yes it matters because some have a wet clutch,but not the differential
