One of my riding buddies has 25" 589's on his Rancher ES. He really likes them, but he lost some power. If you go any bigger than 25's, I would recommend also doing some engine mods to compensate for it. A jet kit, K&N filter, and new exhaust will help out a LOT.

I would recommend 26x10 and 26x12 outlaws or the bi/tri mag combo. I think you would do good with either of these combos.

I just put 25in Mud Runners on my Rancher and love them. Some power loss but traction and easier steering seem to be a fair trade off.

Titan 589 M/Ts are an awesome tire. My Bear Claws work great in mud too. Both tires aren't too bad on trails. But if you are looking for a serious Muddin tire...look at Mudzilla's. Don't know anyone that has them, but dang, they look like they'd go through anything!

We got both kinds of tires for around 260 (inlcudes shipping) for all 4. Email me if you need to. Mikeandamys@aol.com

what size bi/tri claw tires do you guys use on the rancher? I do about 50/50 trail and mud riding. I do have the highlifter lift for it too, just haven't installed it yet (yes my rancher's in the shop with 60 miles on it).

Most of the guys with the 'Claws are running the 27" Magnums. I have them on my 'Cat, and absolutely love them. So far, about 900 miles on them, still looking awesome-that very deep tread design really seems to last. They are great in the mud, but ride very smooth on hardpack too. With the lift, your rancher should be able to fit them fine, other guys are using them on their 450's, so you should be able to pull them fine as well. If in doubt, go with the next size smaller if it's that big of a concern. The great thing about them, is they actually do measure taller than the stated heigth at recommended psi. Mine are about 27 1/4" tall, so you'll get a huge ground clearance gain with the combination of the lift and 'Claws!

Best of luck,

Mike
