We ride alot of swamps and backwater here where we ride, only about 15% is actual packed trails. Most of the guys I ride with are running TSL Vampire tires, with a couple of guys on Titan 589's. I have been leading towards the Vampire tires again, but wanted to get some feedback on the Outlaws by Highlifter and Mudzilla by Maxis Tires. Thanks is advance.

I am thinking of going with the Vampire ASX. The only difference between the two vampires is the asymetrical side lugs on the ASX. But with a tread pattern like the vampire and a name like Super Swamper you can't go wrong if ride in swamps. Go with the Vampire I know I will.

I would go with the Super Swamper Vampires because they have deeper lugs than the TSL's and the ASX's lugs are less than and inch tall!

They run grteat Jacked, I had them on my '99 450 and I just put them on my '02 Rubi, The reason I was asking about the two, is I haven't really had any experience with the Mudzilla tires, I now see that they are offering them in the 26" size and I am getting ready to purchase another set of tires for the quad. I will probally stick with the Vamps as the set I am currently running have 3800 miles on them from the 450 and do show some wear but for the most part still have a lot of bite left. If anyone can sell me on the Mudzilla's I'll give them a try, otherwise I am probally going to stay with the Vamps.

The Mudzillas should be better in the mud than the Vamps...unless you're talking about the Vampire EDL's. Those things should beat anything out there. You better have a good dentist though if you plan on riding any trails.

I think Vamp have a 2.5 inch deep lug and the Outlaw have a 1.25 lug, and the mudzilla has 1.25. but they recommend you have a 450cc bigger machine for the Vamps

Mudzillas are 1.5, Vamps are 1.3, EDL's are 2 or 2.5, Outlaws are almost 2 i think.
