Well first of all who is all going to be there? Second ... Can you light off fireworks on the dunes or not? And third ... Were would be the best place (hotel/motel) to call for a room or do you think most are booked already? thanks - Jason

 

You can light fireworks if they dont catch you, and tell them you are a tree hugger if they do catch you, and your trying to scare off the quad riders!

Motels? probably have rooms.

Make sure you don't have modified pipes or you will get a ticket, they are real #$%^ about noise in oregon.

Well I have been to Oregon probably 10 times and Ive had my pipe everytime and never got hassled but I bet they crack down a little harder on a holiday weekend. That sucks you cant light fireworks.

 

They have a new way of catching ppl with loud bikes now. They have a guy on a raptor in a forest service suit riding around. He stops you THEN calls the green forest service truck in and they sound test ya. so not only look out for the green trucks, look for that dam guy on the raptor, hes gona be ever harder to out run [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] But it wasnt that bad if you wern't riding at the parking lot.

 

Ya I can understand if your sitting there with a loud@$$ 4stroke racing up and down the hill at the parking that they will get ya. But do you really think out by comp hill and out there that youd get checked/chased/or caught?

 

naw, the guy was only running nobbies last time. Just head for some whoops and Stick it in 3rd and you'll lose him, then if they do catch ya just say i never saw you. or you looked just like another rider [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Welll here is my advice about sound. Just make sure you have your off road stickers and a flag and no coolers. Cause if you don't have one of those visable one thing will lead to another. He will check for Tag, then check sound... Turn a good weekend into a really expensive one real quick. Then worse comes to worse play dumb with him and pretend like you didn't know you where loader then you where supposed to be.
