Has anyone been to St.Anthony Dunes in the last week or so. I was thinking about going riding there this Saturday. Trying to find out how much snow is on the ground.

We didn't make it today. I talked to one young guy I know who said that last weekend there was enough that they were riding snow machines out there. Plus had some family stuff come up didn't have a chance to go anywhere today. Might try riding on Taylor mountain Sunday afternoon. Will wait for another week or so before trying to ride St.Anthony.

 

ya dunes got mucho snow for atv's maybe a few hot days and south slopes will bare off north slopes will take a while because of snow drifts!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

Hey pred, as a general rule when is St. A snow free? Think it wil be clear for easter? St. pats? whats the temps up there then?

 

Last few years definetly but we have got more snow this year than in the past!! I will try to keep ya posted just ask i can see dunes from house!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Sat there on the kid's spring break last year in April and watched it snow. Went home pissed!

 

best time to go is early May right before Memorial crazy weekend.

 

i thought st. anthony was closed in the winter due to grazing ground or something. I thought i read something about that when we were back there this last summer. I would love to snowmobile st. anthony, can you take a picture of it covered in snow, that would be sweet to see. Sean
