Default 03 warrior in the dunes

i will be making a once in a lifetime 2 day drive to the oklahoma sand dunes this next year
(i think it is little sahara) for a week or so anyway, i have a stock warrior and no sand tires, and don't plan on buying any for a one time trip.

1. will i still be able to have a good time with a warrior with knobbies?

2. has the warrior got enough power for the dunes?

3. should i keep my butt to the trails in the eastern side of the states?

Warriors do surprisingly well in the dunes (and I am saying that as a Warrior hater!). Air the tires down, and you should be alright.

How big are these dunes anyway???? I mean we arent' talking Dumont huge here, I don't think?

dont expect to hole shot out of a tree shoot, but if you stick to the sand trails and open dunes you will still have a good time.

the little sahara site is www.waynoka.com there are a lot of photos on there under the photo section sent in from people who visit. it might give you some idea of what it is like but it is not the same as actually going. we go there everytime we get a chance. it is a blast.

Air down like reconranger said and you will be good to go, it will take a bit more finese to get up the larger dunes but the ol Warrior shouldnt let you down.
