Well, it's only 2 weeks before I will be in Utah at Little Sahara for the big Easter Weekend. From all of the good info I received from my last post on the subject I have decided to stay at Oasis since it isn't too far away but hopefully not too rowdy either. I plan on getting there Thursday about noon time on April 12th.

Is anybody else planning on going and is there anything else I should know about this place?

Hello wyorider
I am down here in colorado and ive visited your page. How are the dunes by rock springs compared to the sand hills by walden? I also visited pawnee last weekend and may be up there sat. or sun. this week, it seem to be a small but decent place to ride. As long as it isnt swamped with riders. Anyhow thanks for posting your page so i can show my friends some of the places ive been.

ALthough Walden is fun, it in no way compares to the dunes in Rock Springs. Its hard to call the sandy hills at Walden dunes, Rock springs has like 10,000 acres of true rolling dunes. YOu would be smart to check them out. If you want to go, you can hook up with WyoRider and myself, we will be going there a few times this year...

Spanky500, thanks for the comments about my site. Like RoostKing said Rock Springs is pretty decent. MUCH larger than Walden with MUCH bigger hils, bowls and such. There are some areas that you can just fly flat out across the dune tops. Plenty of good places to jump and race and some pretty cool bowls. There is enough that you can ride the whole weekend without covering too much of the same places. Check out the pics on my site by clicking on the "Rock Springs" link or the picture if you haven't already done so. There's a map with dirtections too so check that out as well. I'll be posting the planned trips on my site and here as well so if anybody wants to hook up and make a group trip we can do that. Next trip: Sand Mountain, Utah. Look for the pictures and trip report sometime after Easter.

Also, have you thought about going to Little Sahara (Sand Mountain) for the Easter weekend. I've never been there but here it is a good time with a lot of nice machines.

Ok, I'll look you up. I'll e-mail you later for specifics.

Weather doesn't look all that bad for this week. I'll be in a Wal-Mart grade tent freezing at night.
