Default What front tires?

Does anyone have any preferences on front tires for sand? What about Dune Tracker or Shark Fin by GBC or is Dune Runner by Kenda better? Looking forward to adding them to my Raptor which already has Sand Shark's on it.

i like the mohawk style they work well and when you have to ride on pavement to get to the sand they work great.

I've heard that on the raptor the best tires are the solid ridge (razorback) and in 22" not the 21" Thats what I have. They seem to float better on the sand.

I'd say almost anythigng with a ridge or row of knobbies down the center will help a lot. The smooth ones don't seem to turn so well and are really for drag racing from what I can tell.

I have the GBC dunetrackers - not bad but they aren't the lightest tire out there but they are pretty wide and float well on the sand and still turn well because of the ridge. BTW, that ridge catches a little hard until you get used to it - I nearly high-sided it a few times when I first put mine on coming from knobbies.
