Went into town to check the mail today and decided to take a detour on the way home and check these mines out that we passed on a ride last year.

And this is where I ended up.

It took a while to get the ATV up and on top of the snow.
You can see that the snow is at least 3 feet deep or more.

I built a bridge across the snow out of pinion pine branches sage brush.

Everyone who rides an ATV needs to carry one of these with them; we never leave home without it.

Once again the old ATV made it home.

I figured that I needed to post a couple of the more scenic pitures from today.

It was a little overcast today while I was out riding but warm; close to 45 degrees. I took these while I was trying to recover from all of the work trying to get the ATV out.

Every once in a while a little ray of sunshine would sneak through.
