Here are 2 videos of one trail. The camera shut off and I had to go back and do the second part over.
Don’t pay any attention to my “Honda” comments, these videos end up in a few different places.
video part 1
video part 2

There is tons of runoff this year and it’s damaging the roads.

Today was such an awesome day to ride. It’s been raining on and off all day and that eliminates the dust and I prefer to ride in cooler temps. At one time I could see my breath so it did get a little nippy. Once I gained altitude I was riding in the clouds, couldn’t have asked for a nicer day.

#194 is an awesome trail; it goes to Barney Lake and is another gated 50” trail.

On my way up I came to this downed tree so I turned around so I could attach my tow strap and see if I could move it.

I moved it as far as I could and figured I could just climb over the next one.

Once past the tree’s I was on my way. This is one of my favorite trails here but doubt that it will be open all the way until July.

This looked to be the end of the line for today.

I gave the tree a good tug and it wedged up against another tree so this was it for me.

Looked like a good place for lunch.

Headed back down.

Here’s the first tree I moved. I about dumped my ATV coming up but didn’t take pictures.

Riding in the clouds today was awesome.

I was headed up a really tight trail and I saw a wild turkey run off and then I saw it run off again coming back down so I stopped and looked around for its nest and right next to the trail was this nest full of eggs. I thought this was pretty cool.

Back home. I think the ATV needs a wash job. LOL

Sorry the pics are soo big, I got lazy and didn’t resize them.

For you, Specta! I've got two mounts set up on the safari equipped Sporstman X2. Got my Rotopax 4 gallons storage, bringing a big box for all our gear for a couple days out on the trail, and a bag for extra clothing. I'll take some pics. I've already found some spots on the map that look like good spots for pics (High elevations. Just not the elevations you're used too.) of the valleys and lake below. Can't wait. We leave tomorrow.

Once again, Specta, nice pics and videos! You should pick up a small Husqvarna or Stihl for those trees. I usually bring one if my first trip is by myself.

Thanks Moose and you have a GREAT trip!!!

I have a chain saw but I knew I wouldn't be able to make it to the top even if there weren't any trees, still too much snow.

Make sure a patch gets put on from the inside so foreign materials can't get between the tire and tube.
