Nice looking ride even better looking family.

I'm looking to move up to a sxs next year for plowing. How do you like plowing with your pioneer? Which plow did you go with? Does it cover your tracks even when fully angled? how is it handling a full blade without a low range? I have a few tight corners to deal with. How is maneuverability especially without eps?

How is the availability of aftermarket accessories? I'd really like to not freeze anymore so is a full cab and maybe heater available?

TIA

Thanks for the compliment on the family. I love my Pioneer and it makes plowing a snap. I bought the Eagle plow system which was about $400 cheaper than the Honda/Warn system. It is a 72in blade and covers my tracks even fully angled. The trans in this thing makes it work without the need for low range. I plowed 18-24in of frozen snow without a problem. It turns as tight as an ATV so maneuvering is not an issue. It has 2wd, 4wd and 4wd diff-lock. I use 4wd when plowing and only a couple of times had to use the diff-lock. It will be even better when I get better tires on it.

I do not think you can beat it especially for the money. I really researched the UTVs to see what fit my needs. This is the only one that could do everything I needed without giving up much of anything. It is not a speed demon Like the Razor or Commander topping out at 45 with out an optimizer. It is not a dedicated work horse like the Mule or John Deere. It is shorter than all the other 4 seaters, due to the seats folding into the bed so it maneuvers better.

I have the hard top, windshield, and soft doors, and soft back panel. I did not install the doors yet because they are rated for temps down to -30 and we had very cold days the last two months with temps -40. I will be putting them on soon. There is a heater for it from Honda but I hear there are better aftermarket ones out there. I will be putting one in before next winter.

You can push 18-24" of frozen snow with one pass? Are you looking to go up in tire size? If you hit trails, is it hard to find trails that let you ride your pioneer? Thanks again.

Yes I pushed that much snow in one pass. I want to put 28in tires on that are a little more aggressive. I am going to wear the stock ones out first. Around here there are a lot of trails that allow UTVs on the ATV trails. I also live on 80acres that we hunt on and we ride back and forth to my folks place about 5 miles of dirt road.
