Default Be on the lookout STOLEN atvs

Just giving a little heads up. I live in southern Will County Illinois and some loser is stealing atv and Dirt bikes. A friend of mine just lost a Suzuki 250 This week. Another was stolen from his building last month. Another friend lost a Honda 400ex last month. 5 bikes were stolen down the street. If anyone hears of any Atvs or dirt bikes for sale too cheap in this area please contact me. The guys need to go to jail.

It happens in my area daily!! It's hard to stop a theif if your not home, chains will only slow them down, best advice I can give to everybody is to write down your VIN & take photos of your ride in case it is stolen. If you bought your ATV if off somebody without a title, get a bill of sale or a written document with a witness signature just to cover yourself in the event it is stolen from you, many times people purchase a stolen ATV unknowingly it was stole at the time of purchase and cops knock on your door asking questions about where you got it.I've seen plenty of people buy a atv with a ground off VIN,before you buy check to make 100% sure it is there,if it's not move on regarless of the price. If you are weiry of the sale write down the VIN and take it to your police office prior to buying it.Just some tips!!

Had that goin on around here for a while. Some guy was trying to sell the same stolen machines to multiple people on craigslist. Luckily, the a-hole got caught! That's why I keep my stuff secured even when it's in my locked garage. They may get in and cut through chains/locks but by the time that happens either myself or a neighbor will be giving them a dose of lead poisoning. Caught a guy a few years ago breaking in to my ex's garage one night. Unfortunately for him my military/swat/law enforcement training allowed him to have a very bad day along with a prison sentence!
