im not dead. just cuz you wear a helmet dont mean its gona keep ya from being dead. it wont help if it snaps your neck. its like seat belts. they could save ya. or they could kill ya. i got into an accident when i was round 15 in a van. the driver had there seat belt on. but they hit there head on the windshild, and had a large bruise across there chest plus they also broke the driver side window also. and think they had something else happen also but i cant rember. anyways the van rolled. all i had was a bump on my head from taking the rear veiw mirror off. if i had been wearing the seat belt im shure ida cracked the windshiled, plus ida been hanging from it. i also know someone who was wearing there seat belt in a differnt acciedent and it didnt help anyways as there were ejected from the car. everyone talks about how it saves there life. but lets talk about the times that safety killed. all it is is a gamble. you never know.

 

I wear mine all the time ... 10mph or 40 ... getting bucked off and hitting your head hurts ... I even wear it while plowing ... folks driving down the road may not see me when i push the snow across the way.

 

i wear mine unless i am putting around the yard using the quad for yard work. if i am gonna open it up i will have it on because i already ended up cracking one helmet that could have been my head

 

This is one subject I am still amazed by. Here in TN when I go riding it seems like 85% or more don't wear helmets. It never even crossed my mind not to wear one. I wear mine all the time.

It always a must to wear a helmet always to be safe and we always should the laws.

i wear mine most of the time, but say to check the pasture fence or something i dont.

 

And to add always buy helmets that are snell and dots approved for sure safety

I saw a guy on saturday with a small kid on the back(no older than 6) and they both didn't have a helmet. He even gassed it and did a wheelie in front of us. The thing is, I wasn't thinking he was a bad ***, but rather a dumb ***.
