2005 kodiak 450 tire and exhaust questions
#1
hey guys, im new to the forum, i have a 2005 kodiak 450, I have a couple questions.
I want to get new rims and tires, stock are 25" I was thinking 26" would be a good all around size, what do you guys think? I was thinking 26" 589 m/s.
Also i just had it all tuned up and i have one of those 2" power tips on it that point down ( not those straight out billet ones) it has a spark arrestor built in, can i take it out so it will be a little louder or will that mess with jetting? It is a little louder then stock with the arrestor in. I put it on with the spark arrestor cause my atv guy said it wouldn't mess up jetting. so my question is can i take the spark arrestor out of the power tip, what will happen if i do?
thanks guys, let me know

26" should be fine. 589's are a bit heavy but a great all around, long lasting tire. Removing the spark arrestor will not hurt anything(or make it louder) but make your quad illegal to ride trails depending on where you live. Don't want to get caught without one!
