Winter Time what to do?????

How do you not sled if you live where there is snow?Just as much or more fun than wheeling.I just cover a lot more ground on the sled(lot more fuel though)and there is no clean-up when you get home. We'll cover a hundred miles before breakfast some days, but then again we have close to 35,000 klm's of nicely groomed trails here in Ont.It makes for a nice change as opposed to doing the same thing year round.

A 650 Outty weighs 660lb and puts out 55hp in comparison.
The sleds use the same trails as the ATVs but, lakes and swamps are no longer a dead end, so you really have many more places to ride in the winter.
Sled are much cheaper also, you can find many nice condition sleds in the $2000-$2500 range but in that price range a ATV is going to be in much rougher shape .
My friend just bought a great shape 2002 XC700 like I have for $2500 Canadian, for that price your lucky to buy a 2002, 2wd 250 Recon ATV around here.
I just sold this (pic)1997, 500cc Ski-Doo two up with electric start ,reverse,hand/thumb warmers to a Friend for $1400.
It looks and runs great. and is cheaper to insure than ATVs because the riding season is only 3 months long.
ATV winter tracks sell for $2000 Canadian used up here.
Even this two up touring only weights 530lbs. It only has a 50hp fan cooled 500 twin motor but still crosses lakes at 70mph. My XC 700 will cross lakes at well over 100mph. Sleds are not as fun? you have to try one.LOL
