That is so much fun!! We rode all day yesterday. It was reported we got 11 inches in Hartwell (northeast GA) but I only had 7 1/2" on the ground at my house about 5 miles from town. This morning everything is glazed over with a sheet of ice, but we gonna get out and play some more!!

I am going to post pics on my thread in the FamilyATVing pics soon as i get my camera to cooperate with my computer. I think the cold and wet messed my camera up!

*ETA: Welcome to the forums!!

It's lots of fun if the crust on top of the snow is thick enough to stay up on top. We're supposed to get about 18" tonight into tomorrow. They're talking about 2-3" per hour snows. That's when even a snow jaded New Englander is careful. Back in 1978 we had about 4' fall over the space of 1 1/2 days. People got trapped in their cars and some died. I've got to remember to tell my son (driving Honda Accord) to stay off the highways tomorrow. I had tried to tell my wife years ago I'd be a lot less concerned if she got a 4wd. She finally decided on a Jeep. We got the big tire package so she can get over the deep snow. She loves it.

No but I would ride up to my buddies about 17 miles away in the boonies.

Cool pics, keep them coming. We may have another photo contest on this and other subjects soon
