here in the northern part of Washington, were paying anywhere from 3.69 down to 3.46. Costco has the best gas prices around and shell is about the worst on prices.

Seems they've dropped to 3.12 in a lot of places by our house.

 

$3.31 around here with 30.9 cents per gallon being state tax.

 

there's your REAL moneymakers! the govt....always. do a little math problem that'll **** you off....ready? take that rate that you just quoted for state tax, multiply that per gallon used in your state for gasoline/diesel. then find out if your state has a wasteful spending nature and runs deficits or not. THAT, will **** you off when you find out exactly how much money they bring in on just fuel and then how much they actually waste. yeah, now go figure the fed tax on fuel PER DAY let alone per year! double pisser.
