My son, that evil little sucker, got me started on World of Warcraft over a year ago, now I find myself playing that whenever I have a spare moment.....damn him !! lol. It's a PC game, so I dont know if that counts as a gaming system, but just had to vent.....

WOW is evil wasted more time on that than i care to admit. Though it helped pass the time until summer riding season started again. But i'm happy to say i'm WOW free now. Ha-Ha. And PC gaming is really true gaming it's where it all started. And you have to be a little more tech savvy to PC game because you need to have your computer setup a certain way to handle high end games.

I use to play cod2 and sof2 on pc a lot but got sick of the hackers... Wallhacks, aimbots, etc. Hell those games are a thing of the past, a lot of fun thoe!

We owned our own servers(BPT) with about 70 dedicated members on every day and still couldnt keep them out. Some members were evan caught. Just makes it pointless to play with all the bs.

Thats when I went to console because all servers on consoles are server side and not client side, therefor there files cant be accessed to be manipulated into hacks, meaning no hacks unless allowed by the maker of the game.

Controllers hard to get use to tho, nothing like a mouse and keyboard for an fps game.

I sold my consoles and bought a $500 video card for my desktop- got into ut4 for a longtime but- work, kids, riding and other chores zapped all my free time-

you're 100% right about the hackers tho-
but I hate playing fps games on a console- mouse & kb are so much better IMO. It just feel more natural with a mouse- especially in a sniper shooter game.

i'm from the atari 2600 generation/comm64. i remember when comps were DOS and you had to build your own games or had a floppy disk that was actually floppy! boy i tell ya, sony and all of them had a plan and executed it well. now that we're "grown up" and have jobs, we're buying the newer game systems and got our kids hooked on the genre. wow, they're making a killing off of us, eh?
