1992 yamaha moto 4 350 wont start (flipped it)
I rolled my moto 4 over and it was tipped over for about 20-30 seconds. It was running great before this happened and now it will not start, not enough compression. Is there some type of Roll Over Switch/Sensor or a type of tip over lever that needs to be flipped back? Please Help!

the last moto4 i had any dealings with had a compression release lever. does your quad have one? that's the only thing i can think of at this point in time. i wouldn't think that your wreck would've jacked up your quad anymore than it just shutting down. it should restart. have you pulled a compression test on it? have you double checked for fuel and spark? just asking......

You say not enough compression, do you mean you took a comp. reading and now it is very low? or that it will not turn over? Being tipped could have flooded the cylinder with gas, and liquid will not compress, you will need to pull the spark plug and crank it over to clear it out. My old 1986 Moto 4 200 had a decompression switch on the front of the head, up near the exhaust pipe, you could flip it up to make it easier to pull over, then it snaps shut, if you have one, it could have been damaged and stuck open, that would give you almost no compression. Let us know what you find out.

I dont know what year Yamaha stopped putting the decompression lever on, it should be a little black lever on the head, just above the exhaust. Did you check to see if you lost spark? put the wire on the plug out of the motor, lay it on the head (dont hold the wire) and crank it over and see if you have a good blue spark.
