Well we don't know what Schwarzenegger has to say but it appears Russia has gone and developed a prototype combat robot that can fire handguns and ride ATVs despite Hollywood's endless warnings.

Is there some kind of law in Russia that says something has to be burning in any video made?

 

Honestly, a high school robotics class could probably do a better job. Was it not in the budget to get a real atv?

 

Well that takes care of the riding buddy problem.

 

If it says "I'll be back", I wouldn't stick around and wait.

 

It goes about as fast as I can walk. It would be a sitting duck if that's all it can do.

 

Don't worry. It's riding a Chinese knock-off quad. He won't get more than 100 yards before it breaks down.

 

Wonder if the red painted lines have anything to do with it? If so, you could always try this.

 

The demonstration showed the robot has the dexterity to use the hand controls of a quad. Fine, but so what? The state of the art is well beyond that. I suppose engineers aren't skilled in showmanship, and this is what they spur-of-the-moment came up with when they heard Putin was going to tour. The quad probably wasn't even part of the program and they probably just borrowed it from one of the employees who used it to get through the snow to get to work.
In my estimate, Putin wasn't impressed.
