ATV Winch issue
#61
In your earlier post you said the winch worked in one direction only , a blown fuse would not allowed it to work either direction , you may have blown the fuse when messing with the switch or contactor ?
Did you install the new switch and second new contactor with a plug on it ?

Replaced the solenoid and the switch. Didn’t click at all. Pulled the fuse and it was popped. I think your correct I remember arcing the positive on the screwdriver once and it may have popped at that point. I’m happy it’s a done deal. Had to put it on a trickle charger since I was messing with the winch winding it in tighter so I wore the battery down pretty good.

Was going to put the money towards a plow for next winter. I like the shelf it as a spare though also. Hmmm...
i also picked up a Husky toolbox to mount on the back rack but I’m hesitant at the moment to find something to hold a bit more gear and a gas can. Have to think about this one.
Also have the two pod square lights to mount up front and trying to figure out where they will work best.
