twister hammerhead 150cc go off road go kart

My vote is for the new twister hammerhead 250. I've had mine for a couple months now and have been pretty impressed. It ran circles around my friends blade 250xt. To be fair to blade, we were riding mountain trails - a lot of climbing and blade is geared high for top end and doesn't have too much for low end torque. The hammerhead excelled across the board on the steep mountain trails. Both were a blast in the lower desert (flatter trails). One thing to note - both buggies got stuck in the sand when we veered off into a wash.
All in all though, so far, I am very pleased with my Hammerhead purchase.

We had the Blade up to about 45 (2 adults) but I know it can go faster. Needs a few adjustments. That figure should be closer to 50. Like I said, the stock blade 250xt is geared real high (too high if you ask me) Will definately have to re-gear this one as soon as the parts are available. The Hammerhead doesn't have a speedometer but it had know trouble keeping up and then some. Impressive climber and good top end. Next time out I'll clock it with my gps. So in answering your question, with no mods I experiencing 45 - 50mph

Couldn't find it.
Bought my first buggy on ebay CHEAP. Cheap in quality too but all in all the darn thing was bullet proof so to speak. The company was local so I was lucky in that every time something would break (very harsh riding terrain) I could just walk into their warehouse and get what I needed. Not so with a lot of others. Lot of horror stories. Lot of people out there with broken buggies and no parts available to fix so do a lot of research.

A dealer here has the 250 Twister, and also a 250 called a Rocket. They say the rocket will run circles around the twister in basically everything.I haven't been back to test ride one yet,but I plan to.I'll let yall know what I think. The twister distributor in Dallas told me not to spend the money to upgrade from my 150 to a 250 cause"there wasn't much difference, other than the IRS".There's my 2 cents.lol

Dang! The 150 twister must kick a-- if there's not much difference between it and the 250. Comparing my HH250 to my Xterro 150 (both stock) there's a huge difference. Particularly if I have a passenger.

MikeMike, I was wondering what the availablity of an illustrated parts list or parts explosion, and prices and also if you can order parts for the Crossfires and where? I have a project in mind that I need some of the front end parts for.
