Just wondered what other peoples opinions are on the stock tires in the snow? I have the stock tires on mine and was in the snow with another guy with bear claws, and the stock tires seemed much better to me, unless it has something to do with the new sure trac front differential.

 

Terry, I cant speak for the Bearclaws,but I have 26 inch Mudrunners on my 99 Sportsman,and there is no comparing stock tires to the Mudrunners.My bro John has Vampires on his 97 King Quad,the same applies there,no comparison to stock.====BILL

i have a 97 trx300 4x4 with big bear rims and tires from a suzuki500 4x4 it sucks in the snow.

 

I ride in the snow up here in Canada and believe what counts is lots of tread and clearance under the skid plate.
Ivan 300 4X4. with new All Track tires sized as originals.
