Default I dont understand how to wheelie the 200SX

People were talking about shifting into first, but dont let the shifter go down. Then giving it about half-whole throttle and then let it go down. What does this mean?

"Put it on hard ground. In neutral while sitting still, pull up on the shifter as if you were shifting into first gear but dont let the shifter go down. Give it about half to full throttle and let the shifter down quickly while leaning back." -Smoothassandpaper

what the hell?

I can only do it if I stand on the metal bar thing behind the seat, but then I cant shift into second because I cant reach it. It hold itself up fine, getting there is the problem.

dont do it, you will wear out the clutch, overrev the engine and most likley filp that thing as the front end is really light

try this instead put it into first and stop! next keep your left foot on the peg. and put your right foot on the grab bar. the little metal bar hehind the seat. next give it gas wide open and lift up on the hanlebars at the same time and try to lean as much weight as possible to the back of the 200 this should cause it to wheelie

That machine is not made for wheelies and there is probably a good reason why it won' t like lack of hp but if you are going to try it anyway i would agree with 2000IA Warrior that is probably the only way to get that monster up in the air. lol! Be very careful though because it is very easy to come off the back and have to chase your atv down. Although i do love watching idiots do that because no matter how slow they are suddenly once they see that the quad is not stopping they can run like Deon Sanders.

Yeah, If I put it in second I can stand on the back bar thing and gets it up and keep it there for a while. If I could shift into third from there I think I could get real far on a wheelie, but it revs too high.

But I was hearin people talking about doin them from a stop just sitting.

Oh well, I always got my brothers Suzuki Quadsport 80 to do wheelies on, that thing is a beast!

Start by getting on a hill, put it in first and give it gas. On mine I would flip.

Once you've done that put it in first, then second (give it a bunch of gas ) and it'l come up

a better idea would be to put it in first or second, put your LEFT foor on the grab bar and your RIGHT foot on the peg so yu can reach the brake pedal and find the balance point

This is what it means. As the four wheeler is in neutral, give it half throttle and get your goot ready to shift in gear. And as you have some revs coming let go of the clutch and that puppy is up in a second. But be careful. The 200's front end is light, and can flip you extremely easily.
