Default Recon Shifting Problem

Well, the oil leak was in the rear differential. Most of the oil had leaked out of the gearbox. I fixed the oil leak, but there is still grinding. When I listen to it, it sounds like it is coming from right under the seat, and not the back. I can get it to grind by quickly pushing the throttle when I am in 4th or 5th. Could it still be the clutch, or does it sound like I stripped the gears.

Beats me. I suggest you take it into a dealer or atv mechanic to get it checked out. If there is a grinding sound coming from the engine or drivetrain you better get it checked out.
