quad insurance

Thanks for your response. I pay $148.00 per year with State Farm with a $250.00 deductible. This seems right in line with everyone else. I will check with Progressive Ins. before I pay this years payment, if I save 20 to 30 bucks all the more better.

Have mine on my homeowners. Costs $55.00/year. My agent told me specifically that it was covered for theft, physical damage, or whatever, on or off property. The only difference being that there was no medical payment coverage if it's put under homeowners. I have Country Companies insurance.

It is best to check with one's agent to make sure that ATV theft would be covered on their homeowners policy. Mine was not and I had to get a policy (even if the ATV was in a building that was insured!). This was probably covered years ago, but of course, most insurance companies will "create" new avenues for extra cash flow.

I'm not saying that it's automatically covered on homeowners. The ATV has to be listed specifically on the policy. I just "triple-checked" with my agent today, and he assured me that it would be covered for theft, and physical damage (actual cash value). On or off my property, it's covered.
