I can pick up a nitrous kit for a couple hundred bucks. Comes with a small bottle - 10 lb I think - Could I put it on my stock 400ex. I would make it a dry set up. It would squirt in to my air box between the air filter and carb. Would this be fun to ride or not?

It would work ok as long as you are not going for huge hp with a dry system. 10 hp would be safe and I would have it fire between the carb and airfilter.

A 10 lb bottle is a bit big.

i think most guys run a 2lbs bottle and mounting it to the cooler rack makes for easy install/take off.

you will run VERY lean with this setup.. you will have to jet the bike richer to run right..
i was considering running nitro on my 400, but i decided not to (more to riding than dragging to me) but i wsa going to do it defferently. i was going to run a wet system, i was going to have a fuel pump off a seperate fuel line setup so that when i hit the rpm where i wanted the hit, it would activate the pump so i wouldnt run lean with nitro or be too rich when not running the nitro
