I just got a 250ex about two weeks ago. Yesterday, after letting two of my friends ride it, it stalled twice on me. It started right back up, but isnt idling perfectly. Is this anything to worry about, or does it just need after break in adjustments?

 

I just bought a 250 ex a few weeks ago as well, I think we are both being paranoid...I have the same problem once in a while...I suppose we could check out carb and change the setting a bit, but I am hesitant to mess with it cause I have no idea what I am doing, that why I bought a Honda so I wouldn't have to. Read my post about a noise and reply if you have any ideas as well.

 

I think Ive heard that same noise on mine, but im not sure. This morning I tried starting it and it keeps stalling, maybe its just cold. Im thinking about sending it in to the dealership this week, I have a 6 month warranty and a pass that gives free adjusments.

 

Any chance that they went through some deep water & got some water in the carb?

 

Nope, no deep water for me. Im sending it in to the dealership neway, I need a new tire, got a flat today. Those are some cheap *** tires.

 

Make it the dealers problem.
