not really sure what they were riding, it was kinda blown apart when i saw it. whats it really matter?

Broke both wrists after coming up short while jumping some dirtbike burms. I remember both backs of my hands touching the tops of my forearms, as I write this my wrists hurt from rememberance.

Just a couple weeks ago a young man got killed after colliding head on with a truck while riding on a forest road. He was wearing a helmet, but that can't stop a 5000 lb truck from doing damage. The story was told to me that he was riding a raptor and had it pinned while maneuvering a corner at top speed, and the truck was coming around the corner the opposite way, no time to do anything. He was alive when they lifeflighted him away but when they arrived at the hospital they said he was completely brain dead and was completely paralyzed.

well personally 2 things 1 i watched a guy die 2 i saw my friend almost die the guy i saw die was jumping a train and didn't get enough speed and slamed into the cliff(on an atv) on the otherside 2 my friend was jumping a 5ft uuhhh jump in his backyard on a CR80 (o well it's not a ATV) gettign 30ft high 40long and he tried a no footer and ddi it TO SOON and missed the pegs and when he landed he skidded into a fence ( he's still in the hospital) this happend about 3 motnhs ago

 

Cracked my skull in two places when I went over the handlebars, stupidity accident that I should have never let happen and I wasn't wearing a helmet.

 

The worst accident that I have seen was somebody on a dirtbike. He went over the bars landing a jump and got his wrists caught in the spokes of the front tire. He badly messed up both wrists. There is a picture of him in one of our school yearbooks with both arms in casts.

 

I have definetly been in some bad crashes but I have never got injured (to bad[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] )

1-One of my friends was doing a cookie on a 250R trike. His foot slid off th efoot ped and somehow his foot went right threw the back sproket. Cut it right off. Now he has bars down his leg,

2- Recently me and my friend were out ridin. (he was on 400ex, I was on 200x) We were riding on dirt roads that we had never been on. He was going about 65 around a turn. Did have time to stop and slamed right into a tree. He bent an a-arm,tie rod, and his rim was seriously OVAL! He got a hudge gash in his leg.

 

wow some of these stories are scary. The worst thing I ever did was roll my old honda 185 atc. I was going around a turn in third and didn't see the rut I was closing in on until it was too late. I went over the handle bars and watched my ride roll twice and land back on its wheels. I did my damage to my trike than I did to myself. I had to replace the head light and some of the plastic was bent. I ended up with a a sore leg. I have done a few sketchy things on my blaster but nothing like rolling that old trike.

 

1. This winter I was showing off a bit and had the tail of my buddies 400EX hanging out in 3rd gear. The front tire caught a log under the snow and flipped me. I landed on my head about 30 ft from the quad then I jumped up in panic and flipped it back onto its wheels...no damage to me or quad

2. 3 months ago I was running to hot into a corner after a long straight and the brake wouldn't slow me enough for the corner. I cut my losses and too the straight path into the ***** wags. When of the first ditch and hit a rock hard enought that I snapped the steering shaft and then out of instinct I bailed. I landed head first in a blasted rock ditch about 75ft - 100ft from where I left the road. Almost lost my right thumb and I was crippled up pretty good for 2 weeks, MANY CUTS and god bless expensive helmets!

3. Last week I hit a stump barely moving and I went over the handle bars because I was standing up. I caught my left hand on the clutch and bruised it, landed on my right shoulder and it is still hurting very bad (I should get it x-rayed). I laid in the mud hole in pain for a couple mins and then I just laughed because it was so dumb!

 

I know a guy who died, when he rode his raptor on a street reeeeealy fast. Then he crashed into a car coming out of another way in front of him. The car flipped over twice and landed upside down.
