TIRE SIZE VS. POWER
I Have a 95 300 4x4 and i was needing some new tires. I have looked at the itp589, outlaws, gator and the goodyear mudrunner. i was also concerned about a loss of power going to a bigger tire. My friend has a 300 with 25-10-12 (F) and 26-12-12(R), but has a tough time turning them over in the tough stuff. i want a bigger tire to hang with him and the rest of my buddys with 400s, 450s, and bigger. i need an aggressive tire and could use all the clearance that i can get. so if anyone has any thoughts i could definately use the advise.

I recently mounted 26" gators on my rubicon. I could notice a decrease in bottom end power. I notice myself putting it in low more often than I ever did with the stock 25" tires on. I would not recomend going over 25" on a 300, you will really have a hard time turning them over in the thick stuff and also on hills.

That should be fine, chcek with your friend and see if he has any problem with the tires rubbing on his. Thoes smaller sizes should save you some power. You will have to experiement with air pressure. I currently run 2lb in each of mine, smoother ride with less air and auctly steers better.
