Just put my 2000 Rancher FM through 100+ miles of the wettest, steepest, most uneven, muddy, rocky, and remote trails the Adirondack Mountains has to offer this weekend. I never flinched or hesitated, went 78 miles before switching to the reserve. I have complete confidence in this machine. I cant say enough IT WILL GO ANYWHERE!

THE ONLY thing I found I didn't like about the Rancher was when I got stuck in a hole last week.. front end down at a fairly steep nose down position. I left it running till my buddies were able to hook me up with a tow rope and pull me out.. IT ran out of gas at that angle and I was unable to assist in the "pulling out" of my quad. After it was back on level ground, the carb float filled back up and everything was up and running perfectly again.
FYI. switch off your quad before your Carb float bowl runs out of gas.
